The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, has revealed that those waiting to be issued a drivers’ license will have to wait longer because of the havoc caused at the FRSC office by the hoodlums who hijacked the End SARS protest in the state.
The Governor who made this known in a statement released via his Twitter account, @Govern
orikpeazu said that the Office of the Federal Road Safety Corp, FRSC, wasn’t spared by the perpetrators of the act.
He further revealed that his administration will have to rally quickly to find an alternative office for the FRSC officers.
He, however, said that those who would want to renew their license and those who like to be issued a new license will have to wait longer because of the unfortunate incident.
“Not even the @FRSCNigeria office in Aba was spared by the hoodlums who hijacked the EndSARS protests during that black week of violence.
“We’ve to rally quickly to find an alternative office for FRSC. Surely, those awaiting drivers’ license will have to wait longer,” he said.
