Details of Buhari’s meeting with Osinbajo, security chiefs on Thursday revealed



President Muhammadu Buhari has reassured Nigerians, that he would not spare anything to see that security and peace are achieved across the nation.

Buhari stated this during his meeting with members of the National Security Council (NSC) on Thursday.
Speaking with State House correspondents after the meeting, the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (Rtd.), disclosed that he briefed the Council on the challenges facing the country.
Delivering the Buhari’s message, Monguno said: “Arising from this meeting, I will like to assure all Nigerians that Mr. President is fully onboard, he is committed to doing whatever is necessary to reduce the spate of violence and insecurity in the country.
“He is also committed to spending whatever resources he has at his disposal to bring to a quick end to all the issues affecting Nigerians and bringing a lot of sorrows to Nigerians. That is the most important takeaway from today’s meeting.”
In attendance were Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
Others are security and Service Chiefs, as well as some cabinet members, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama.
Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Rauf Aregbesola also attended.
