MAGU PROBE: Fani-Kayode says Tinubu, Osinbajo are the real targets

IPOB: Fani-Kayode attacks Junaid Mohammed, tells him to withdraw bloodletting comment

A former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has given a different interpretation to the ongoing travails of the suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu.

He said in a tweet on Sunday that the real targets in Magu’s saga was not the suspended EFCC boss but the godfathers he allegedly worked for.

Alleging that a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo were the godfathers Magu worked for, the former minister said that after the Federal Government finished with Magu that they would move against Tinubu and Osinbajo.

Fani-Kayode wrote on his Twitter handle, @realFFK:

“What is happening to Magu today was planned years ago. The real target is not Magu but those he worked for and protected for the last 4 years. He NEVER worked for Buhari.

“He worked for Tinubu & Osinbajo. When they finish crushing him they will move against his two godfathers.”

A presidential panel is currently probing Magu over several allegations of corruption levelled against him.
