Delta State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has said his administration's advocacy for Deltans to invest in the state is paying off, as prominent indigenes of the state are contributing in different ways to develop the state.

Governor Okowa made the disclosure yesterday while commissioning a Police Station, Primary School, and a Primary Health Care Centre, as well as the foundation laying ceremony of Margeret Lawrence University at Owere-Olubor and Ute-ogbeje communities in Ika North East.

According to the Governor, his administration is committed to providing the enabling environment for Deltans, investors to come to the state and partner with the state to ensure its speedy development, noting that apart from the events of yesterday, private organizations have built and donated library to the state government, constructed roads, among others.

Governor Okowa observed that with the enabling environment which his administration has ensured, Deltans should expect more developmental projects from government, investors and public-spirited individuals.
