The Grammy-winner informed fans of the decision that seemed to take a toll on her Thursday via Twitter. In the message she told her more than 32 million followers that she and her family have been under the weather. She revealed she was "gutted" to have to postpone the show scheduled at Bell Centre and vowed to return.
"I will absolutely be back to perform for you all and I’m grateful for you wanting to come and be with us at all," Pink wrote. "Our entire family has been battling this awful virus/flu for two weeks now, and I have battled my way through these shows because postponing sucks."
Pink is married to Carey Hart and together they have two children Willow, 6 and Jameson, 1.
"I’m really sorry and know that I have done everything I could to avoid this," she added. "Carey’s been home with flu while me and the kids battle this virus. I wish anyone out there going through this healing vibes and big hugs."

Pink also battled the flu prior to performing the national anthem at February's Super Bowl. Before the big game, Pink shared on Instagram that she was "Trying to practice the flu away."
"I’ve been waiting to sing this song since 1991 when I saw my idol, Whitney Houston, own this song," she wrote to her followers at the time. "And now, my chance has finally come. And it just so happens that this chance comes when I have two small Petri dish kids who literally cough INTO MY MOUTH and rub their snot on my cheek. You can’t write this stuff I swear!"
