Croatia Striker, Kalinic Insists they will Beat Super Eagles in the 2018 World Cup

Croatia striker, Nikola Kalinic has stated that their team have the quality to beat Nigeria in their Group D clash at the Kaliningrad Stadium on Saturday.

The 30-year-old believes Dalić’s side will approach the match against the Super Eagles with the right attitude that will give them victory over Gernot Rohr’s side.

The AC Milan star, however, said Croatia must show respect to the Eagles who according to him have some talented players in their squad.

Croatia have good wingers and strikers and we are not afraid, it’s a good idea to play and create opportunities for the attackers,” Kalinic told reporters.

He also noted that they have better quality  players than Nigeria, but we must show respect, they certainly have good defensive players, Nigeria have shown themselves against England and will undoubtedly be difficult, but they need to see where their biggest chance to win is and we hope to open the tournament with a win.

Croatia are in Group D of the 2018 World Cup alongside, Nigeria, Argentina and Iceland.
