Gov. Dankwambo releases June salary to Gombe workers for Sallah



     As Muslims celebrate the 2018 Eid-el-Fitr festivities, the Gombe state governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has approved the immediate release of June salary to the workers in the State to enable them celebrate the end of the Ramadan fast with joy and happiness.

In a statement signed and issued by the Senior Special Assistant, Media, Junaid Usman Abubakar, the Governor urged the good people of Gombe State to celebrate the Sallah by extending peace to all nooks and crannies.



The Kano state governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, had approved the payment of June salary to all workers of the state, explaining that the early payment was to enable civil servants and their families to fully enjoy the festivities of the Eid-el-Fitr.

Dankwambo while wishing all the people of the state a happy Sallah celebrations, also prayed for peace and unity for Gombe state in particular and Nigeria at large.

He also urged the people of the state to imbibe the spirit of peaceful coexistence and tolerate each other irrespective of ethno-religious differences.

The governor pleaded with politicians and their supporters to eschew violence and thuggery as political activities preparatory to the 2019 general elections build up, warning that government will not hesitate to deal with anyone or group caught causing breach of the peace in the state.

He then thanked the people of the state for their continued support to his administration, assuring that every project embarked upon for the development of the state will be completed before the end of the tenure in the 2019.
