PDP claims Buhari plans to use dead people, underage children to rig the 2019 election

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari was planning to use dead persons and underage children to rig the 2019 election.

The Party said that this was the main reason the President had allegedly refused to sign the electoral act amendment.

In a series of tweets on Thursday evening, the main opposition party said that Buhari was holding the country to ransom to achieve his personal ambition.

PDP wrote, “Why @MBuhari is jittery, embattled over Electoral Act: President @MBuhari, in his desperation to achieve a personal ambition, is holding the nation to ransom by refusing to sign the Electoral Act Amendment bill, passed by @nassnigeria to check manipulations during elections.

“The amendment bill also provides for Instant Transmission of Results from polling to collation centers which ensures real-time results and reduces human interferences and election malpractices, thus effectively checking the alteration of results by the @APC.

“Such provisions include granting @inecnigeria powers to utilize Full Biometrics Accreditation of voters with smart card readers and other technological devices, which @MBuhari & @OfficialAPCNg know will effectively check their reliance on dead, underage and alien voters.”
