The Delta State commissioner for
transport Vincent Uduaghan has commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the role he
played in the accreditation of courses in Delta State School of maritime
technology Burutu.
Uduagahan made this disclosure
yesterday in Asaba while addressing the permanent secretary directorate of
transport, Edwin Abrake, Director of marine transport engineers, Victor omoniyi
and other management staff of the Directorate.
The Commissioner noted that despite
the numerous financial challenges from different quarters in the State and the
urgent desire of government to develop other sectors of the State, the Governor
equally took the issue of school of maritime technology Burutu to heart.
