Mavin Records superstar, Reekado Banks, narrated how operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, pointed a gun at him and almost shot him during the weekend.
The 2017 winner of Next Rated act at the Headies Awards took to his Twitter handle to share his ugly experience in the hands of SARS operatives.
Reekado Banks, who didn’t have nice words for the special police, said the operatives calmed down after they noticed he was popular.
He tweeted that he don’t even know the difference between SARS and ARMED ROBBERS.
The ones I met today overtook me in a regular car, no uniforms, immediately pointed their guns and asked that we came down from the car, then calmed down when they noticed me.
