1,500 National Diploma and Higher National Diploma students matriculate into the Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara



     No fewer than 1,500 National Diploma and Higher National Diploma students out of about 15,000 candidates who applied for admission into the Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara, have pledged to the matriculation oath of the institution.


   The Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Clara Sogbaike, while admitting the matriculation oath, warned the new students to desist from activities like cultism, examination malpractice, and hooliganism, among others during their stay at the institution., even as she encouraged them to be diligent in their studies and obey all established rules.

   Dr. Sogbaikefurther praised Former Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan for the financial support he has been giving the institution through monthly subvention.

   Rize FM Warri correspondent, Valerie Jacobs, who witnessed the ceremony, spoke with some matriculants, who couldn’t hide their joy.

   11 years after establishment, Delta State Polytechnic Otefe-Oghara has moved from only three National Diploma courses to fully accredited nine courses and eight Higher National Diploma courses.
