Speaking in Abuja while reacting to the events that led to the 2017 league opener between former champions Kano Pillars and FC Ifeanyi Ubah that was abandoned, Chairman of LMC said the incident has opened its eyes, adding that any erring club will be sanctioned.
He further said that the league management body is poised to ensure that the quality of the game in the country was improved to the level where hooliganism and the win at home syndrome will be things of the past.
Meanwhile, Referees in Nigeria have been charged to be above board in their handling of league matches so as to reduce incidents of friction.
