Abia Warriors will head off to Port
Harcourt on Wednesday to prepare for the opening top-flight clash at oriental
neighbours and champions Enugu Rangers.
Head coach, Okey Emordi, said the
decision to relocate to Port Harcourt for the Rangers clash is to help the
newcomers among them to get used to the artificial lawn as well as playing
under floodlights.
He acknowledged that the game is
between neighbors, which he says will be tough, but he hopes that with the
serious work already put in by the team, they will smile at the end of the day.
Meanwhile, reports have it that
Warriors will round up their build-up for the top-flight with a friendly match
against demoted side Heartland today.
