The Delta State Government has challenged all Elected and Appointed Political Office Holders in the State to contribute their quota in ensuring that they better the security challenges in their various constituencies.

The State Deputy Governor, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro, gave the charge yesterday, at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba, during a meeting with elected and appointed political office holders from Delta South Senatorial District of the state.
Barr.Otuaro, while thanking the political appointees for their support and faith in the State Government, noted that the meeting is at the instance of the State Governor, Senator IfeanyiOkowa in relation to some security challenges in the various communities in the State.
He called on all elected and appointed political office holders to leverage on their appointments in engaging the youths in their various constituencies on the need to have a peaceful environment for development and companies to thrive in the state.
He noted that one of the cardinal points in the Dr. Okowa SMART mantra is to create wealth and bring prosperity to all Deltans, saying that the State Government is achieving that through the STEP and YEGEP programmes in the State.
