Delta State Government has reiterated its commitment to a robust and cordial working relationship with various labour unions in order to promote and ensure industrial harmony in the state.
The Head of Service, ReginaldBayoko disclosed this when he played host to the executive members of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN in his office in Asaba.
He said the welfare of civil servants in the state remained a top priority of the present administration, affirming that Senator IfeanyiOkowais a labour-friendly governor.
Bayokocommended members of the union for their peaceful disposition in pursuing their demands, saying that his doors were always open for discussions, suggestions and exchange of ideas in moving the civil service forward.
Earlier, the Chairman of JUSUN, Comrade Austin Chiejina, said that they were in the HOS’ office to familiarize with him and introduce the new executives of the union to him, as well as present some of their demands and challenges to him with a view to addressing them.
