The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, made the promise while briefing journalists on the activities of the Service in 2016 at the NAF Headquarters in Abuja, saying that NAF had improved its capability to deal with any threat to the nation’s territorial integrity.
While stating that emphasis will also be geared towards respect for human rights while its personnel carry out their professional duties, he revealed that NAF had established 5th Air fleet Command in Bauchi and some units under it in Gusau and Owerri.
