Former Golden Eaglets winger Habib Makanjuola has signed a four-year deal with Leicester City.
Makanjuola, joins the Foxes from Water FC in Nigeria after previous spells with Chelsea’s U-16s and Birmingham’s U-17s.
The Nigerian youngster will join up with Leicester City’s U-23 team for the coming season after impressing on trials at the club.
An excited Makanjuola, who was part of the Nigerian Golden Eaglets squad that won the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup in United Arab Emirates, told newsmen he hopes to cement a place in the first team squad of the club.
Makanjuola becomes the fifth Nigerian player to play for Leicester after Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Ahmed Musa, Wilfred Ndidi and Iheanacho.
