Premier Soccer League, PSL, Orlando Pirates coach Kjell
Jonevret, has resigned after a failure to turn the Bucs fortunes around.
The club confirmed in a statement today, saying that the Swede had thrown in the towel.
His resignation has been accepted by club boss Irvin Khoza, who
is now expected to name Milutin Sredojevich as his replacement.
The latter jetted into the country this week to hold talks with
Khoza and is set to be announced in the coming days.
Sredojevic quit the Uganda national team at the weekend, citing
six months worth of unpaid salaries. He was previously coach of Pirates from
June 2006 to January 2007.
