Commission is ready and willing to key into the projects of Nigeria Supply
Chain Integration Projects, so as to bring about enhanced healthcare delivery
at the grassroots.
Giving this assurance during a courtesy
call by the members of the Nigeria Supply Chain Integration Projects group to
the commission’s chairman, Comrade Olumami Oyibo, in Asaba, the chairman said
the commission will match words with action, to see improved healthcare of
people at the grassroots.
He also promised that the commission
will sensitize the 25 local government chairman in the state, as well as all
primary healthcare centres in the council areas to make sure that they all key
into the objectives of the project.
Speaking earlier, the leader of the team
from the Federal Ministry of Health, Pharmacist Kate Ekonye explained that the
visit is to seek for the assistance of the commission in sensitizing the
grassroots.
