All mothers should examine themselves to make a change for the society to be a better place to stay- Anglican Priest

AS the Anglican Communion worldwide celebrated its 2017 Mothering Sunday, a clarion call has gone to all mothers to examine themselves to make a change for the society to be a better place to stay.

The wife of Delta State Governor and Founder, 05 Initiative, Dame Edith Okowa, who spoke yesterday during the sermon on the theme: ‘A Notable Woman of Vision,” said that what makes a woman is not getting pregnant and delivering a child, but the ability to use her impacted Godly wisdom
wisely at any time in life.
She enjoined women not to allow any situation they encounter in life to hinder them from doing good, adding that they should hold unto the word of God in everything they do in life.
Dame Okowa used the occasion to enjoin all men to love and respect their wives, stating that any man who refuses to do so has offended God because women are special species created by God.
