Less than one month to the commencement
of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup tournament billed for April 27 in Bahamas,
the Super Sand Eagles will on Sunday this week resume pre-tournament camping in
Lagos, with an invited 20-man squad.
Chief coach of the team, Adams Audu
Ejor, who made the disclosure in a chat with newsmen in Abuja yesterday, said
arrangements had been concluded for the camping, revealing that the team would
also participate in a four-nation tournament holding in Senegal between April
14th to 17th .
He further noted that having
participated in four previous Beach Soccer World Cup, the team would make
impact in the tournament, adding that he would not promise Nigerians the trophy
or how far the team would go.
According to him the 20 invited
players will report to camp on Sunday, stating that only 12 out of the 20
invited will make the final list.
