Federal government has resolved to fast track the deployment of all ambassadors-designate to their prospective countries without delay
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Sola Enikanolaiye, disclosed this at the five-day induction for the 44 non-career ambassadors designate yesterday in Abuja.
He said the ambassadors-designate would be deployed when agreements have been sought and obtained from prospective countries.
According to reports that 47 career-ambassadors designate who were inducted in December 2016 were yet to be deployed.
The process, he explained was dependent on how fast consents were got from the receiving states.
He said that the Ministry would take necessary steps to fast-track the process to fully install all Missions without further delay.
