The Chairman of the institution
Governing Council, Dr. Yemi Ogunbiyi, made the announcement today, saying that 21
applications were screened for the position.
Prof. Ogunmodede, who spoke with
journalists after he was announced as the new vice chancellor of OAU, solicited
the x .support of staff and pledged total commitment, determination, hard work,
quick consultative decisions, direction, impartiality and conscious enhancement
of team approach.
The new Vice Chancellor is a
Professor of Dentistry and former Dean of Faculty, College of Health Science,
at the institution.
