NIGER- 16 Permanent Secretaries have been retired, while 17 new ones have been appointed
16 Permanent Secretaries have been retired, while 17 new ones have been appointed by Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger state in a move to overhaul the state civil service.
In a statement by Jide Orintunsin, Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the governor, the Permanent Secretaries have been directed to proceed on immediate retirement leave.
Meanwhile, eight serving Permanent Secretaries would be retained while two others, who have been acting had their appointments confirmed.
