And Leicester were happy to agree to the clause, as they will double their money in the event of the forward proving a massive hit in the East Midlands. The 20 year old, Iheanacho had a medical at Leicester's training ground on Tuesday with the deal set to be announced later on Wednesday and he will become the third Nigerian at the club after Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi.

Iheanacho’s deal was held up due to a row over image rights with his former agents but according to reports an agreement has been reached. The report also claims that Leicester have secured Iheanacho's signature ahead of Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Monaco. Iheanacho could make his Leicester debut in Friday's friendly against Borussia Monchengladbach in a pre-season friendly at the King Power Stadium.
