House of Representatives direct the Standard Organization of Nigeria, SON to maintain status quo on the court order

    The House of Representatives is directing the Standard Organization of Nigeria, SON to maintain status quo on the court order mandating it to lift ban on D.K Golden products, pending when the committee will hear the matter.

   The directive followed an order from a Federal Court Awka asking SON to lift the ban on D. K Golden products which was not adhered to by SON since February 2011.

Abonta, who issued the directive, called on all the parties involved in the matter to maintain status quo pending when the committee will hear the matter.
   By this order, it is expected that the D.K Golden products would be allowed to sell in the markets unhindered pending when the House will conclude on the matter.
