Miss SME’s Delta pageant- Warri youths be encouraged to venture into entrepreneurship



     The pageantry which had 8 contestants saw contestant 2, Miss Favour Idama, crowned as Miss SME’s Delta 2016/2017, and had Contestant 2, Miss Edema going home as 1st  runner up as well as Contestant 4, Miss Cherry Umudi, as Miss SME Delta Heritage.

Miss Favour Idama, who is now the brand ambassador to Gimbrowns Marine Security Oil and Gas Limited, could not hide her joy as she spoke with Rize FM’s correspondent, Ruth Amadin.

    Earlier in his speech, Senior Special Assistant to Delta state governor, Comrade Hope George, restated the state government’s commitment to improving the welfare of its youths via different schemes, even as he implored them to be creative.
Meanwhile, awards have been awarded to deserving Deltans for their roles in youth development at the Delta youth entrepreneur recognition awards.
Some of the awardees, who spoke with our correspondent, expressed joy and vowed to do more for youths.

   Organiser of the event, Comrade Temisan Louis, explained the idea behind the projects and appreciated individuals and groups who supported the dream.
