   Lagos State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency, MVAA, says it is awash with complaints from motorists over seizure of vehicles by security agents, who doubt the genuineness of Lagos number plates.

   The Agency added that it had introduced a website through which motorists and law enforcement agencies could verify the authenticity of number plates issued by the agency.

   The General Manager of the MVAA, LateefLawal disclosed this to newsmen in Lagos, stating that  the website was in line  with the Smart City Initiative of Governor AkinwunmiAmbode to revolutionize the system of operation.

   Lateef further enjoined the public, particularly motorists, FRSC, and othersecurity agencies to visit the MVAA’S Website to verify the genuineness of number plates issued by the agency.
