Police Service Commission to
begin training of 10,000 recruits December 31. 10,000 recruits will begin training into
the Nigerian Police Force on December 31.
According to a statement released by the Spokesman of the Police Service Commission, Ikechukwu Ani, six South-West states have beenallocated 1,322 constable slots, out of which;652 will be going to Lagos, Osun and Ondo states, while 477 will be going to Oyo and Ekiti and Ogun is to receive 193 slots.
Kaduna, Kano and Katsina states have 1,137 slots while Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi and Jigawa states have 823 slots.
The 10,000 applicants will be trained for 12 months in various police colleges and training schools across the federation.
