Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilizations seeks participation of Nigerians in FESTAC celebration

Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilisation is urging Nigerians to ensure full participation in celebration of FESTAC 77 at 40.

Its Director General, Dr Ferdinand Anikwe, made the plea while speaking in Lagos, adding that it is to ensure that Nigerian cultural heritage is celebrated and promoted beyond the shores of the country.
The event, according to him, would hold in over ten states including the Federal Capital Territory, where the Mascot would be unveiled on April 1st.
Different cultural displays would be held in some states including Katsina, Enugu, Ogun, Kaduna, Akwa- Ibom and some foreign countries.
