THE Delta State Government is ready to continue its support of activities of the Agency for Adult and Non-Formal Education to achieve grassroots educational development.
Making the disclosure during a courtesy visit to his office in Asaba by the board members of Agency for Adult And Non-Formal Education, the Commissioner for Information, Hon. Patrick Ukah, said a representative of the ministry will be sent to the agency as a board member, as well as an information officer, in collaboration with other relevant organs of government.
He advised the agency to embark on the enlightenment of the people through the traditional institutions, community leaders, ward councillors and other stakeholders, on the need to get adult and non-formal education.
