President Donald Trump to take his first overseas trip as president later this month




 

     President Donald Trump of the United States is expected to take his first overseas trip as president later this month, where the will make stops in Israel, the Vatican and Saudi Arabia before visits to a NATO meeting in Belgium and a Group of 7 summit in Italy.

   Trump is expected to arrive at Ben-Gurion Airport, whence he will fly by helicopter to Jerusalem on May 22 to visit the Old City and Yad Vashem, and sleep in the King David Hotel’s presidential suite.

   Ahead of his visit, police spokesman, Micky Rosenfeld, says officers from the full range of regular and special patrol units including undercover units, border police and counterterrorism units will secure the visit.
Reports say from Jerusalem, Trump is expected to visit Masada and Bethlehem.
