Former Sharks captain, Odinga Odinga
has retired from active football to take up a career in coaching.
Odinga who was a member of the
Rivers United team that finished as runners-up in last season’s Nigeria
Professional Football League, NPFL, retired from active football at the end of
the last campaign.
According to reports, the former
right-back says it is time for him to give back to upcoming players, all he
learned during his time in active football.
Odinga is currently one of the
coaches at the feeder team of Rivers United.
