Physically-challenged man gets political appointment in Anambra state



    A physically-challenged man, alongside8 others, have been appointed as permanent secretaries in Anambra state, with a call on them to deploy their wealth of experience for the development of the state.

   Inaugurating the new appointees, Governor Willie Obianosaid they were selected on merit and advised that them not to relent in service delivery.
    Governor Obiano also described the appointment of a physically-challenged Dr Azuka Ofomata as a clear indication that the government did not play with the welfare of such persons.
   The state government has plans to organisea week-long orientation for the new appointees on government programmes and policies, to ensure they effectively drive the vision of the government.
