WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is reportedly resting at an Atlanta hospital after undergoing an undisclosed surgery yesterday.

Flair was hospitalized and admitted to an intensive care unit over the weekend and has his condition worsened he was placed into a medically induced coma before the procedure.

Rumors suggested the 68-year old wrestling legend was dealing with a heart issue but Melinda Morris Zanoni, CEO of Legacy Talent and Entertainment, which represents Flair, said the surgery was not heart related.

Melinda Morris Zanoni originally tweeted that Flair had been hospitalized on Saturday as part of "routine monitoring" before taking to social media yesterday to ask for prayers and positive energy prior to the surgery.

Flair holds the WWE record for most ever World Heavyweight Championship title reigns with 16, and was also the first ever WCW World Heavyweight Champion. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2008 for his illustrious singles career and then again in 2012 as a member of The Four Horsemen.
