Delta state experiences first Tricycle race amid cheers



    People of Warri, Uvwie and its environs came out in large numbers to witness the maiden edition of the Uvwie charity ride project-Keke race to fame organized by Uvwie Local Government council and Finarex paint as part of activities that marked the 2016 Uvwie day.

    The Keke charity race which is aimed at empowering individuals and families had 46 contestants in total with pairings of twos and qualification based on knock out.
   At the end of the race, Shedrack Okocha with race Number 41, evaded all hurdles to emerge winner in a breath taking final, leaving Solomon Clement with race Number 15 settling for 2nd position.

   Oreva Igbudu with race Number 8 finished in 3rd place while Adamu Arisu with race Number 39 finished the race in 4th place.
On his part, Comrade Alex, CEO Finarex paint, expressed his delight at the massive turn out of people as well as the overwhelming support from the press.
   He also hinted that the 2nd edition of the Keke race would take place in early 2017.
