Gov. okowa introduces electronic collection fees in Hospitsls

   

   To ensure accountability in the generation of revenue in the health sector, the Delta State Governor, Senator  Ifeanyi Okowa , has approved the collection of fees through an electronic system.
The state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Nicholas Azinge, disclosed this during an inter-ministerial press briefing  in Asaba.

   According to the commissioner, with the approval of the governor, the state Hospital Management Board ,HMB, is in the process of automating collection of all of its fees through an electronic system, which will reduce fraud and other leakages in all hospitals across the state.
