The Nigeria Army and the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, are pledging their support to promoting Consumer Protection in Delta state.
Making the vow when members of the Delta State Consumer Protection Committee led by its Chairman and Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Barr. Mary Iyasere, paid an advocacy visit to the Commanding Officer, 3 Battalion, Nigeria Army, Effurun, Major Abdulkadir, decried the nefarious activities of manufacturers who short-change consumers under whatever guise.
He also advised members of the committee to be above board in the discharge of their duties.
Also speaking, when members of the committee visited Delta state’s IPMAN Chairman, Benjamin Emoefe, assured that his members will continue to abide with the relevant rules guiding their operations.
