Ciara, Russell Wilson Singer, husband celebrate engagement anniversary

  Ciara and Russell Wilson got engaged on March 11 2016 in Seychelles, and the couple are reliving fond memories from that night one year after.

The 'Body Party' singer took to Instagram on Saturday, March 11 2017, and wrote, "Today marks [one] of the best days of my life. 3.11.16 #EngagementDay."


Over to Russell's Instagram and the romance was well and truly aflame as the Seattle Seahawk quarterback posted a picture of the exact moment he slipped the ring on his then girlfriend's finger, as with the sun setting beautifully behind them.

He wrote, "At 7:33 PM on 3.11.16 my prayer to Jesus came true."

"You said 'Yes! Of Course!' in the most beautiful place in the world, Seychelles.

I will never forget how close God was, is, and forever will be in every moment. Today & Everyday will be our day. I Love You My Queen."

A day before the anniversary, the pregnant Ciara was involved in a car accident but she was unhurt, and on Saturday the anniversary, she was seen strolling with her husband and enjoying a cup of what looked like ice cream or yogurt.

Ciara and Russell wed in a castle in England in July, 2016.
