DELTA State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa is
calling for collaborative efforts in the power sector to ensure that generated
power translates into electricity in homes of Nigerians.
Making the call while commissioning Gas Turbine 15
which generates 115 Megawatts of electricity into the national grid at the
Transcorp Power Plant, in Ughelli, Delta State, the Governor assured that the
existing peace in the state would be consolidated as a continuous boost to
investors' confidence.
Governor Okowa also congratulated the Chairman of
Transcorp Power Limited, Tony Elumelu for the achievements recorded by the
company.
On his part, Elumelu appreciated Governor Okowa for
making the environment very peaceful and good for investment.
