As part of measures, aimed at reducing the increasing rate of unemployment in the state, Lagos State Government has commenced leadership training for over 500 unemployed youths, selected across the 20 Local Government Areas, and 37 Local Council Development Areas of the state.
Declaring the five-day training opened in Epe Local Government Area, Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Uzamat Akinbile-Yusuf, said that the training was aimed at inculcating virtues of citizenship, leadership and volunteerism for the development of their personality.
She noted that the training would help the participants chart a path for progressive and prosperous adult life.
