Super
Eagles striker Olarenwaju Kayode is now the top scorer in the Austrian
Bundesliga after netting for his team Austria Vienna in the 3-2 home loss to
Salzburg.
Kayode, who will miss the
international friendly with Corsica, scored his 17th Goal of the season and
goes ahead of Dani Alar in the penultimate game of the season.
Vienna lost the game to
champions-elect Salzburg despite going ahead in the sixth minute through an
Andreas Ulmer own goal.
The former Flying Eagles
star then put his side two goals ahead with a goal in the 29th minute before
Salzburg turned the game around.
Despite the result, Austria
Vienna and Sturm Graz will play in next season’s Europa League.
