Enyimba have named
Mfon Udoh as their new captain after the departure of former captain
Chinedu Udoji.
According to
reports, Udoji who captained the team for four seasons from 2012, left the seven-time
league champions for rivals Kano Pillars in November.
He finished last
season as the CAF Champions League top scorer and holds the record for the most
goals scored in a single Premier League season.
Speaking to
newsmen, Udoh said he was excited to be the captain of the team, saying that with
teamwork and hard work, they can return to the summit of the league next season
.
