The Nigerian Society of Engineers, NSE, Asaba
branch, has commended the Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for the massive infrastructural
development across the state in the last 19 months of his administration.
The Chairman of NSE, Asaba branch, Engr. Bemigho
Ofoeyeno, made the commendation while speaking to newsmen during their facility
visit to the Asaba International Airport.
Ofoeyeno who led the executives and members of NSE
to the airport, affirmed that Governor Okowa’s giant strides in infrastructural
development across the state; within a short period of his administration, in
spite of the current economic recession confronting the nation, was
unprecedented in the annals of Delta State.
Describing the engineering profession as key to
infrastructural development, he said that NSE would continue to partner with the
state government and other relevant agencies and stakeholders to ensure
standard and international best practices in the execution of projects.
