Enugu state government tasks residents on anti-flooding measures

As this year’s raining season approaches, Enugu State Waste Management Authority is urging residents to clean-up drainages in their neighbourhoods to avoid flooding.

Managing Director of the authority, Amaka Anajemba, made the call in an interview with newsmen against the back drop of the need to take precautionary measures before the rains.
According to Amaka, it is the civic responsibility of residents of the state to support the government and check all forms of flooding in the state.
She also lauded residents for their participation in the February edition of the state’s monthly sanitation.
