National Youth Service Corp evolves new strategy to monitor corps members



   National Youth Service Corps , NYSC,  has begun evolvement of new strategy for effective monitoring of corps members in their places of primary assignments with a view to prevent sharp practices.

   According to reports, the new strategy was aimed at enhancing corps members’ inspection and monitoring as well as empowering field officers in the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.
   Public Relations Officer of NYSC in Oyo State, Simeon Bankole, said the Director General of NYSC, Brig.-Gen. SuleKazaure, would be in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, to address officers of the scheme in the South-west on Thursday March 2, 2017, at a training workshop.
   Bankole stated that all the zonal and local government inspectors of the scheme in the South-west geo-political zone of the country are expected to attend the workshop.
   He stated further that the workshop was organized to reposition the scheme for optimal performance.
