Operatives of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence
Corps, NSCDC, says it will undergo special training to protect ranches to
be established across the country.
According to reports, the Commandant-General of the
Corps, AbdullahiGana, disclosed this today in kaduna after a closed door meeting with the management and staff
of the state command of the NSCDC.
He said the operatives would undergo
special training at the Nigerian Army
Depot, Zaria preparatory for the take-off of Agro-Rangers Unit.
The Commandant said that the operatives would provide security in and
around the proposed ranches to be established across the country.
He added that the operatives would
be trained to ride horses and motorbikes in line with the expectations of the
duties they are expected to perform.
Responding, the state commander of
the NSCDC ModuBunu pledged that the command would support the Commandant-
General.
