Niger State Governor, Abubakar Bello has again, cautioned citizens against taking laws into their hands or carrying out vengeance against their fellow beings.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Jibrin Ndace, Governor Bello said peace and security are not just a top priority of the administration, but appropriate steps have been taken to ensure safety of lives and property.
This is coming on the heels of a recent breach of peace and security which resulted in the unfortunate death of about 20 people in the village of Epogi in Mokwa Local Government Area of the state.
Bello, who described the Epogi massacre as callous and dastardly, warned that his administration would never tolerate lawlessness, assuring that the incident will be investigated and the culprits brought to justice.
