Troops of Operation Delta Safe, ODS, have rescued two kidnap victims in Bayelsa State.
The commander of ODS, Rear Admiral Apochi Suleiman, as part of the crackdown on criminal elements in the Niger Delta region, ordered the raid on criminal hideouts in Bayelsa State.

Suleiman, in a press briefing at the command’s headquarters yesterday, said ODS troops conducted successful operations in identified camps in Oluasiri and Agbidama, in Nembe and Ekeremor local government areas of the state, over the weekend.
He disclosed that during the operations, at Oluasiri, two victims were rescued from kidnappers, adding, however, that one of them sustained gunshot wounds during a shootout with the kidnappers.
The victim has been taken to a military hospital in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, for adequate treatment.
