Six referees in the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, have been recommended for suspension by the League Management Company, LMC.
The LMC, which oversee the running of the
league, explained that the six referees failed to meet up with the high
standard expected in the NPFL and made decisions which were obviously wrong.
Umar Mohammed, Aliyu Abdullahi, Saleh
Mohammed and Samuel Agba are referees recommended to the Nigeria Football
Federation, NFF, by the LMC for suspension.
Assistant referees Emmanuel Udoh and
Felagha Awudoola completed the list.
